Wednesday Oct 14 2026 SPY SPX ES Actionable Levels
$SPX chops again right in-between the levels. Where must $SPY hold on CPI to have a shot higher?
In yesterday’s letter, we wrote:
For tomorrow, we’re closely watching the key SPX levels of 7787, 7807, 7819, and 7831. As long as those supports hold, we remain biased to the upside and will look for long entries on a dip & defense at 7807 or in the 7792/7787 area…If we lose 7787 and can’t quickly bounce back above, we’ll flip to the short side.”
This is what happened. Today was marked by consolidation as the SPX defended the critical 7787 level, closing unchanged. We witnessed a low of 7786.11, spot on to the 7787 must-hold level, while the high of day reached 7814.15, indicating a tight range and a battle at the 7807 ceiling. $SPY ( ▼ 0.01% ) $SPX ( ▼ 0.56% ) $ES_F ( 0.0% )
See how well the levels work?
A CRM so smart, it updates itself.
HubSpot's CRM is so smart, it now updates itself. Calls get logged and summarized the moment they end. New leads get researched and a first outreach drafted, automatically. Deals move forward on their own, with next steps flagged before you have to ask.
Even the one repetitive task you've been meaning to fix can now run itself, no code required. Customers using it are already seeing the difference.
This isn't the CRM you have to work hard to figure out. It's the one already working before you log in.
Now, as we head into tomorrow, we are left wondering how long this consolidation can hold. What levels must we focus on to maintain our bullish bias amid potential CPI volatility?
More in the trade plan below.
Below, we’ll cover the actionable levels, how we played them today and what they mean for the next session.

The defense of 7787 (low of day 7786.11) was spot on exact. Despite the consolidation this kept the range alive and we went up from there. Always trust the levels.
Now we are sitting in after hours right on the key 7808 support level. What does this mean and where do we go from here? Read below for our trade plan which includes actionable support & resistance levels, outlook for the next session and today’s trade recap.

Trading Plan
Today’s price action was characterized by higher volume, signaling that while the market is in consolidation, participants remain active.
For tomorrow, we have CPI data to digest prior to the open, alongside three FOMC members speaking throughout the day. These events could introduce volatility, and we must stay alert to how they impact our key levels.
We are receiving some great questions from beginners. This is helping us develop guides for this group as well as the course. More to come but we’ve created a separate channel in the discord just so you don’t have to be shy about bringing those questions to the group. No question is dumb, we grow stronger together!
In fact, we’ve created this single resource as a guide. It is a living document and we will continue updating it. You must be logged into the site to read it:

As readers know trading after a massive move in either direction is risky.
Trying to predict when trend will break is a fool’s game because the trend can be stronger than you ever realize.
Going with the trend is hard because it has already run so far (or dropped) and move may be close to over.
All you can do is pick your entries carefully and with proper position sizing. Trading out 1-3 DTE or further also helps soften the blow.
Yes it will decrease the amount of profit but will greatly help keep you in a trade long enough to see return.
For tomorrow, we’re closely watching the key SPX levels of…
