Tuesday Sept 1 2026 SPY SPX ES Actionable Levels

$SPX defends key support several times in consolidation. Where is $SPY’s next target?

In Friday’s letter, we wrote:

For Monday, we’re closely watching the key SPX levels of 7621, 7676, 7707, and 7719. As long as we keep defending critical supports, the bias remains higher and we’ll look to buy dips. Ideal long entries would be on…a direct defense at 7676

If we lose 7676 and fail to quickly bounce back above, we’ll flip short for a move to 7664.

This is what happened. The day started with some strong support at the 7676 level, which we defended multiple times overnight running as high as 7707. However, we quickly encountered selling pressure, particularly after losing the 7691 level after the open. The market then chopped around 7676, ultimately giving way to a drop near 7664, hitting a low of day at 7665.06 before consolidating and recovering back near 7691 into the close. $SPY ( ▼ 0.3% )  $SPX ( ▼ 0.33% )  $ES_F ( 0.0% )

It's Here: Pique's New Caffeine-Free Afternoon Energy

I quit my afternoon coffee. Not because I wanted to — because I found something better.

You know that wall you hit every day around 2–3 PM? I used to just accept it as the cost of doing anything. Another coffee, a quick spike, then the crash — and somehow I'd still feel dehydrated by dinner.

Then I tried X·E Fountain, Pique's brand-new electrolyte energy drink, and I genuinely wasn't ready for how good "no crash" could feel.

No caffeine jitters. No 4 PM slump. Just clean, steady energy that actually hydrates me instead of draining me. It's built with a premium Vitamin B Complex for natural cellular energy, Magnesium Malate + Taurate for real focus, and a full electrolyte blend that makes it feel like a treat, not a chore.

The cucumber-celery-lime flavor is so crisp and refreshing — it's basically stolen my afternoon coffee slot completely.

Now, as we look back on the day, we must ask ourselves: how do we navigate the next moves in this evolving market? What levels do we need to hold below and next targets above?

More in the trade plan below.

Below, we’ll cover the actionable levels, how we played them today and what they mean for the next session.

The defense of 7676 was critical today, despite the consolidation. Always trust the levels.

Now we are sitting in after hours right on the key 7684 support level. What does this mean and where do we go from here? Read below for our trade plan which includes actionable support & resistance levels, outlook for the next session and today’s trade recap.

Trading Plan

Today’s market closed down just .33%, after being down more significantly earlier in the session.

Looking ahead to tomorrow, we have important jobs data/JOLTS and manufacturing PMI scheduled for release, along with at least one FOMC member speaking. These events could lead to increased volatility, and it’s essential to stay alert and ready to adjust our positions as necessary.

We are receiving some great questions from beginners. This is helping us develop guides for this group as well as the course. More to come but we’ve created a separate channel in the discord just so you don’t have to be shy about bringing those questions to the group. No question is dumb, we grow stronger together!

In fact, we’ve created this single resource as a guide. It is a living document and we will continue updating it. You must be logged into the site to read it:

As readers know trading after a massive move in either direction is risky.

Trying to predict when trend will break is a fool’s game because the trend can be stronger than you ever realize.

Going with the trend is hard because it has already run so far (or dropped) and move may be close to over.

All you can do is pick your entries carefully and with proper position sizing. Trading out 1-3 DTE or further also helps soften the blow.

Yes it will decrease the amount of profit but will greatly help keep you in a trade long enough to see return.

For tomorrow, we’re closely watching the key SPX levels of…
